Hi everyone! After a little blog break, we're back 🙂 My recent trip to New York had a mandatory stop at te Glossier Flagship in Soho. The store was so cool and, honestly, I felt like buying everything. I ended up selecting four things: Haloscope in Quartz, Boy Brow in Brown, Cloud Paint in Beam and Generation G in Cake. The veredict: I caved into the hype and loved everything! My favorite thing about these products is how effortlessly they apply and how fresh and healthy they make you look. Definitely a Glossier fan now and I can't wait to go back to pick up more products. Next on my wishlist…

    The Zara Edit

Hi everyone! Zara is currently full-on spring mode and we're loving it. So we came up with a full outfit (including some Zara lipstick) for this transitional weather. For a colder day change the sandals for a pair a boots (like these) and you're good to go. Hope you enjoy it 🙂 [PT] Olá pessoal!

I’m going on my next trip very soon, so I thought about showing my skincare and toiletries essentials. This list doesn’t change much whether it’s just a weekend break or a longer vacation. I will say that the choices of products have been made so that it takes the smallest space possible (I decant a lot of things to travel bottles, and use these), but still keeping my routine. For my go to makeup you can check this post. FACE To remove the makeup, I recently bought the makeup remover cloth from Primark. It works like a charm and is such a space saver! Just wet it with some warm…

Happy 2019 everyone! We're back and ready to continue to work to put out some great things for you. 🙂 We took a few days off to spend Christmas with our families and then to work on our thesis. We're going to start 2019 in the blog with a travel diary, so you can take some ideas if you're going to Scotland or, who knows, inspire to book a trip this year! Back in December I went with a couple of friends to Scotland (we even went looking for Nessie, but without any luck!). This post will be all about the first part of the trip to Edinburgh, and next…

I have been on the hunt for the perfect black heel ankle boots. They're one of the most versatile shoes out there. Whether for work, dinner out or a more casual day, black ankle boots will be an excellent choice in 90% of situations! So, make sure you take your time choosing the right pair for you, in a neutral colour that fits your wardrobe, comfortable and with the right heel that suits your life. In my search, I rounded up some great choices, both in leather and non-leather. Hope you like it 🙂 Tenho andado num busca pelos botins de salto pretos perfeitos. Este tipo de calçado é um…

Black Friday is just around and, for me, it’s the perfect opportunity to buy some investment pieces and get a head start with Christmas presents. My advice when it comes to this day is to have a list so you don’t make impulsive purchases (been there, done that) and do some research to make sure you’re actually getting the best price. Today I’ll show you some things that have been under my radar. Stay tuned for Silvia’s wishlist within the next days! Let us know what are you planning on buying next Friday 🙂 [PT] A Black Friday está à porta e, para mim, é a altura perfeita para investir…

BOOKS OF 2018 (SO FAR) PART 2

Here it is just as promised, the second part of my 2018 readings! If you missed the first part go have a read here. INTO THE WATER I've had already read the first book by Paula Hawkins, Girl on the train, and really enjoyed it. So when this book was released I got intrigued to read it and I found it to be more gripping than the first one. It starts with the death of Nel, who was investigating several mysterious deaths in the river that run by her childhood house. Some people think she jumped, others that she was pushed. Through the eyes of the several town residents and…

Around this time of year there's so much beauty launches that it can be hard to keep up. That is without all the gift sets and Christmas editions (which is a whole other post). So I rounded up our makeup favorites so you don't miss a thing. I know the Smashbox foundation is not a new launch per se, but they released a bunch of new shades, and that's why it deserves a spot on the list. My personal picks out of this list are the the bareMinerals highlight, the Hourglass palette, and YSL lipstick. Add some concealer and mascara and you have a look! Let us know in the…
