    NEW IN | GLOSSIER

Hi everyone! After a little blog break, we're back 🙂 My recent trip to New York had a mandatory stop at te Glossier Flagship in Soho. The store was so cool and, honestly, I felt like buying everything. I ended up selecting four things: Haloscope in Quartz, Boy Brow in Brown, Cloud Paint in Beam and Generation G in Cake. The veredict: I caved into the hype and loved everything! My favorite thing about these products is how effortlessly they apply and how fresh and healthy they make you look. Definitely a Glossier fan now and I can't wait to go back to pick up more products. Next on my wishlist…

    WHAT TO PACK BEAUTY-WISE

I’m going on my next trip very soon, so I thought about showing my skincare and toiletries essentials. This list doesn’t change much whether it’s just a weekend break or a longer vacation. I will say that the choices of products have been made so that it takes the smallest space possible (I decant a lot of things to travel bottles, and use these), but still keeping my routine. For my go to makeup you can check this post. FACE To remove the makeup, I recently bought the makeup remover cloth from Primark. It works like a charm and is such a space saver! Just wet it with some warm…

    MY GO-TO BODY LOTIONS

Just because bare leg weather is officially gone it doesn't mean us girls should neglect moisturising. I get very dry skin in winter, and the stockings and tight trousers don't help (I imagine you're the same!). Over the years and especially after having lived in Turkey for one year (where the weather is supeeeer dry and the water terrible) the skin on my legs started cracking and flaking - I neglected it for a while and it took me over two years to recover with the help of a dermatologist. Do not make the same mistake! Moisturise and drink plenty water! Below are my favorite moisturisers, including the one that…

    BLACK FRIDAY WISHLIST | RITA

Black Friday is just around and, for me, it’s the perfect opportunity to buy some investment pieces and get a head start with Christmas presents. My advice when it comes to this day is to have a list so you don’t make impulsive purchases (been there, done that) and do some research to make sure you’re actually getting the best price. Today I’ll show you some things that have been under my radar. Stay tuned for Silvia’s wishlist within the next days! Let us know what are you planning on buying next Friday 🙂 [PT] A Black Friday está à porta e, para mim, é a altura perfeita para investir…

    THE EVERYDAY MAKE-UP I DON’T DO EVERYDAY

I am definitely not the makeup guru of this duo, Rita is. But still, I managed to master the no-make-up make-up look quite well. It's a look that you can do everyday!... Except I don't, because I'm lazy and prefer to sleep those extra 10min every other morning. If you're lazy just like me here is my (almost) everyday make-up routine: De nós duas eu definitivamente não sou o guru da maquilhagem, a Rita é que é. No entanto, acho que finalmente consegui o no-make-up make-up look perfeito para mim. É uma coisa que podem fazer todos os dias!... Mas porque sou preguiçosa, não faço e prefiro dormir mais 10…

    MORNING SKINCARE ROUTINE

As promised, here is my morning skincare routine. Mind you I do not use all of these products every single day, I sometimes rotate them or others just keep it simpler - it depends on how much time I have in the morning. In case you missed my previous skincare post, note that my skin is combination/normal and that my main concerns are congested pores and sensitivity. My skin is also eczema prone and very textured, which I hate but still haven't found a product that can help me with that. In addition to using all these products (and trust me, I keep it simple...) I try to eat healthy…

    CAUDALIE VINOPURE

I have always been a huge fan of Caudalie so I could not wait to try their new fragrance free release: Caudalie Vinopure. Even though this routine was made for combination to oily skin and my skin nowadays is more normal/combination I feel this works wonders on me during warmer days. For a long time I used the Caudalie Vinosource mattifying fluid but after almost a year (together with other ‘harsher’ products) my skin started getting too sensitive. This is why I now try to always get fragrance free products and have been really seeing a difference in the overall health and look of my skin.   The toner…
